Job Description

Bakers are responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts. They are responsible for:

• Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough
• Measuring ingredients and following recipes
• Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
• Decorating and finishing baked goods
• Keeping accurate records of inventory and production
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations

What you’ll be doing in the position

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts, including but not limited to:

• Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough

Must-have skills and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in baking or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with baking tools and equipment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
